Tomb of the Devourer
A downloadable game for Windows
The Treasure Hunter had traveled a long way. In the Valley of Kings, the tombs lay defiled, despoiled of all treasure. All but one. One tomb had remained impervious to looting. A tomb of a nameless king of an age lost to history. Not one would-be thief who had ever challenged its depths had returned. The Treasure Hunter was determined to be the first. When he stood before the entrance to the tomb, half buried in sand, he had expected difficulty getting inside. To his surprise, the ancient stone gate rose open under its own power like a gaping maw. An open invitation. Perhaps this would be easier than he thought.
Tomb of the Devourer is a standalone Diorama Dungeoncrawl Module. Delve into an ancient tomb, fight monsters, avoid deadly traps, and attempt to steal the fabled treasure of the Tomb of the Devourer.

Gives me warm fuzzy nostalgia for sitting on the living room floor in front of the family Playstation explaining to my little brother that no, that last death didn't count, I'm not giving you the controller.
Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the game!
Loved the unique visual style of this game! The booby-trapped rooms were really exhilarating. The attacks took me a little bit to get the hang of because of that sudden forward lunge the character does, but I like how punishing it can be if you carelessly swing your sword. The Devourer was really menacing with its tendril like appendages. I would love to see a full game in this style. Excellent work!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed!
I've got a couple more games in this style. Another short one called The Waystone's Toll, and the original Diorama Dungeoncrawl, which is the longest of the three, but is more of a linear action game.
